Zee TV’s Jamai No. 1 has steadily gained viewers’ attention with its engaging drama and charismatic characters. The show's central character, Neel, is portrayed by Abhishek Malik, who skillfully balances charm and responsibility. While he keeps the audience captivated on screen, his off-screen commitment to health and fitness is equally commendable, even with the demanding shooting schedule.

Abhishek frequently transforms any available corner of the set into his personal fitness space. Whether it's resistance band training in his makeup room, doing core exercises during scene changes, or taking a quick power walk between takes, he ensures that movement remains a priority. Abhishek also attributes his discipline to a strong focus on mindful eating. During breaks between shoots, he opts for clean, homemade meals and avoids sugary snacks, choosing instead protein bars, fruits, and plenty of water.

Abhishek said, “Fitness helps me stay balanced, especially during long and unpredictable shoot days. I don’t always have time for a full gym workout, but I make it a point to keep moving, even if it's just a 15-minute walk around the set, a few rounds of stretching between shots, climbing stairs or Step-up exercise. Sometimes, I use whatever’s around — a chair for squats, a wall for push-ups. It’s not about having six-pack abs — it’s about staying active, feeling fresh, and taking care of your body and mind. On hectic days, these small habits really make a big difference.”
