How did acting happen to you?

Acting happened to me by chance while I was trying out different stuff. At one point, I wanted to become a wedding planner, interior designer, RJ, anchor and a lot more things! After failing at everything, I tried acting and thankfully I was good at it.

What kind of response are you receiving for Salt City?

The response has been extremely overwhelming, as I have got a lot of calls from fans. I feel blessed.

What transformation did you undergo for Salt City?

I gained around 20 kilos. Gaining weight was very difficult. It took about four-and-a-half months!

What factors do you look for while taking up roles?

I only see whether or not I want to tell the story of this character. If that person’s life is exciting enough, I take up the role.

What kind struggles or challenges have you faced in your journey?

Lots of struggles and challenges! I have been removed from multiple web shows and films. I have been rejected every day of my life for these two-three years. I have struggled with food, money, rent and more.

What do you do in your free time?

Mostly lazing around, binge-watching shows and YouTube videos. If at all I feel creative, then I read a script or draw or paint or swim.

What are your upcoming projects?

Two Bollywood films and a web show on SonyLIV titled Good Bad Girl.

Who is your inspiration?

I love Alia Bhatt, Nawazuddin Siddique, Manoj Bajpai, Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.

What is your dream role?

I want to play a superhero and feature in a marvel film at some point in my life. Or maybe a hardcore police officer in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe!
