Actor Abhishek Rawat talks about the joys of parenting

Actor Abhishek Rawat, who is seen in Sony TV’s show Kaamnaa, is a loving husband and caring father in real life too, just like his role in the show. Being a working parent, Abhishek does get caught up with his assignments but always ensures he spends quality time with his daughter. He believes that as a parent, it’s important to be there for the child, especially when they are growing up.

Abhishek says, “Playing the role of a father just comes naturally to me because I am a father to a beautiful girl in real life too. Being a parent is truly a blessing and I understand the emotions a parent goes through when it comes to their children. Plus, I firmly believe as parents we need to learn and unlearn while looking after the child’s upbringing. Parenting is a lifetime job and it doesn’t end when the child grows up.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
