Besides entertaining his fans on screen with his acting skills, Kettan Singh is a writer also. He has written for shows like Actor Calling Actor, Nautanki – The Comedy Theatre and Jaaved Jaaferi’s Once More. He says, “Basically, I am an actor but writing comes naturally to me. When I was doing Shankar Jaikishan 3 in 1 and Apna News Aayega, every time I got a script, I made sure I would add a line or two to the script. I did the same with my film 7 hours To Go and Marathi film Vicky Velingkar.”

As for his inspiration, he adds, “You can’t have one inspiration, there are multiple. I am not a good reader so I like to listen to audio books rather than reading. Every writer is different in his approach and inspired by a set of other writers. I have my own style of writing and it comes from various other writers that I listened to or read.”
