Workout for me

Workout is my life. It has been 12 years that my life has revolved around workouts. I started in college; then modelling ensured I kept at it. I do weight training and bank running for staying in shape. No treadmill for me, parks and roads work just fine. In the last decade and more, I can count 12 days that I probably skipped my exercise!

Lockdown regimen

I took two dumbbells from a friend and a mat from another; I used whatever equipment I could lay hands on. Each single day I worked out for at least two hours.

Diet chart

I eat clean. I am from a Jat Sikh family; we don’t make no-veg at home. I eat regular dal, roti and sabji. I supplement it with protein. When in Mumbai, I add chicken and fish to my meals, but here in Mohali ghar ka khana rocks.

Cheat days

None for me. At times I do look at a brownie and think of indulging, but when I count calories, I do not go for it.

I am guilty of

Too much black coffee; I can’t start my day without one and for every little thing I reach out to my cuppa!

Fitness idol

Vidyut Jammwal.

Lockdown cravings

I had none. I had my eyes set on my work after the lockdown.

Gadget call

I am not the one to bank on gadgets to track fitness. They can sure guide, but what works the best is a certified coach who can know your body, correct exercise postures and guide well.

Fitness funda

Always listen to your body. Eat what keeps you fit. Be consistent with diet and exercise; take ample sleep.
