Alia Bhatt and her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor did their favourite thing on New Year ’s Eve. Like their start to 2021, they went on a holiday to end the year in style. Alia shared pictures from their trip on her Instagram profile. There are two solo pictures of herself and Ranbir, three pictures of wildlife and an amazing view of sunset. With some ‘wise words’, she referred to The Lion King’s song Hakuna Matata in the caption. She wrote, “Giving 2022 some hakuna matata energy. Stay safe… smile … Be simple and love more! Happy new year.”

Her friends and family dropped their comments on pictures and Alia’s message for 2022. Her mom, Soni Razdan wrote, “Wise words.” Arjun Kapoor said, “#nadaanparindeys. Even Ranbir’s mom commented on the picture with heart emojis and a smile.

With the New Year, Alia also put a new Instagram profile picture. Her fans were thrilled and shared it on many fan pages.

Last year, Alia and Ranbir rang in New Year with each other’s families in Ranthambore. They recently went to Jodhpur to celebrate Ranbir’s 39th birthday. It was during the lockdown last year that Ranbir opened up about his relationship with Alia Bhatt. He said that if it wasn’t for the pandemic, they would have been married.
