Singers Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello break-up after two years of dating

One of the popular celebrity couples of the music fraternity, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, have called it quits. The couple has announced their break-up with a statement on social media.

The singers shared on their Instagram stories, “We’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever. We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends still. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward now.”

Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello recorded their first collaboration in 2015, Cabello’s debut single, I Know What You Did Last Summer.

After that, the two released Senorita and soon made their first public appearance as a couple in the summer of 2019. The affectionate couple quarantined together in Miami during much of 2020. They even attended the Met Gala together in September. They celebrated their two-year anniversary in July, each uploading pictures on social media.
