Anneysha Thakker has bagged the Youth Icon Award 2021 at a recently held event. The world knows her as a popular show host and sports presenter. A mother, a daughter, a wife, a professional and an influencer, Anneysha is the title holder of Mrs India Gujarati 2015. She has been motivating the youth to strive and ascend beyond their aspirations since she got into the industry.

Talking about the recent honour, Anneysha says, “Being selected as a Youth Icon is a matter of great pride and responsibility, to lead by example. I’m truly humbled and honoured to be chosen as the icon of today’s youth. I hope to be one for the years to come.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
