Avinash Mukherjee, who is popularly known for his portrayal of Jagya in Balika Vadhu, has been roped in for Sasural Simar Ka 2. The first season of the show ended in 2018 after a run of eight years on television screen. It is making a comeback with a new season now and Avinash Mukherjee will be playing the main lead in it. The show is scheduled to air next month and the makers are in process of finalising the cast. In the first season, Avinash’s co-star from Balika Vadhu, Avika Gor played the female lead along with actress Dipika Kakar.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
