Anjum Farooki of Balika Vadhu-fame has been blessed with a baby girl. The actress was blessed on August 28, but she shared the news on social media after a week. The couple has named her Haneya. Anjum got married to Saqib Syed in 2013.

After that, she quit the world of acting and became a home-maker. Anjum’s husband, Syed, works in the Indian Navy. Anjum says though she misses the cameras, working in a daily soap is not feasible for her. Anjum had played the role of Gauri in Balika Vadhu.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
