How has the experience of working in Balika Vadhu been?

It has been amazing. I was not even in the industry when the show came out. Balika Vadhu has many viewers and the best experience is that I am working with a great director.

You’re also doing Tera Yaar Hoon Main. How do you manage to balance the two shows?

Yes, it’s been difficult but this is what I wanted. So, I managed to balance it all.

What inspires you to give your best?

My parents smile when they see me on screen and the pride that they take in telling everyone about it is what truly inspires me. Also, the love I get from people inspires me.

What is your advice for youngsters out there?

I’m 24 and have just started, so all I can say is that I want to set a good example for youngsters. I want them to believe in their dreams.

What is the best compliment you’ve got for your looks?

I have got lots of compliments for my hazel eyes. In fact, on the sets of the show Balika Vadhu 2, one of my co-stars asked if I was wearing lenses. I think that my eyes usually steal the show!

What are the two changes you want in the entertainment industry and why?

There should be some strict rules as far as cleanliness is concerned in and around the sets. Secondly, people should be honest and professional. There’s a lot of cheating that is happening in the industry.

Where do you see yourself five years from now?

That’s a difficult question, but yes in five years from now I hope I am successful.
