This coming weekend, Sony Television’s India’s Laughter Champion will offer the flavours of Punjab, UP, Bihar and Mumbai among others. Judges Archana Puran Singh and Shekhar Suman will be joined by the poetic humourist Padmashree Surendra Sharma on Saturday and ace comedian Pratap Faujdar on Sunday.

Making the weekends hilarious would be the contestants, who would engage in a battle of wit and humour to claim their spot in the quarter finals.

Host Rochelle Rao will be introducing the specials of the evenings who will be atrangi as ever! From Mumbai Vignesh Pandey and his partner, Anna will show the viewers the charm of ventriloquism. Hasib Khan from Bhopal will make Archana Puran Singh compare him to comedian Zakir Khan.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
