Bollywood Diaries actor Salim Diwan believes that everyone should support the cause related to children. The actor says, “Being a responsible citizen and human being, it’s our duty to stay active when it comes to social causes. It doesn’t matter if you are a celebrity or not. If you have enough, you should support social causes for a better future of the country.”

Keeping this in mind, he supports the cause related to children whom he has adopted. Salim Diwan adds, “I take care of all their expenses. I support their education too, as I donate through Dr. Salaudeen Chopdar foundation. We also look after all the expenses of the Government Trauma Centre that is located in Rajasthan.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
