The release of Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi, directed by Rohit Shetty, has been postponed from its originally announced date of Diwali 2020 to Republic Day 2021. In fresh developments, Reliance Entertainment CEO Shibasish Sarkar has confirmed the same. However, 83 starring Ranveer Singh will be released on Christmas as announced earlier. Now that the Diwali slot is free, comes in Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari.

Making an official announcement on Monday, the makers of Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari confirmed the film’s release on November 13.

Starring Manoj Bajpayee, Diljit Dosanjh and Fatima Sana Shaikh, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is directed by Abhishek Sharma. The film is a rib-tickling flick, being touted as an ‘unlikely comedy about a wedding detective on the hunt’. The makers of Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari are thrilled that the film is releasing on Diwali.
