Recently, a video went viral on Internet in which a pet Labrador named Bruno is seen beaten to death by three youths on a beach in Kerala. The dog was sitting near a boat on the beach when three youths started beating him using a stick. The incident has caused a huge uproar on social media with netizens demanding ‘Justice for Bruno’.

Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “Disgusting!!! They cannot get away with this!!! Until they are punished people with this twisted mindset are not going to change.” While Disha Patani wrote, “Hope the culprits are found and severely punished.” Anushka Sharma too reacted and wrote “Monsters” as she slammed the accused.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
