Chandan Roy Sanyal on playing a sanki villain
Chandan Roy Sanyal wowed netizens with his phenomenal act in the trailer of Vipul Amrutlal Shah & Zee Studios’ upcoming film ‘Sanak – Hope Under Seige’. The versatile actor attracted praise for making a mark as a ruthless villain, who knows no mercy, with his distinctive get-up, in the trailer. As he goes to the dark side to be seen as a full-fledged villain, Sanyal reveals the prep that went into his transformation for the upcoming hostage drama. The actor undertook training under the guidance of an American action director for a month and learnt rifle shooting.
Chandan Roy Sanyal says, “I dived into the prep for Sanak knowing well that I would be pitted against India’s invincible action star, Vidyut Jammwal. I had to match his sanak.” Sanak will stream on Disney+ Hotstar on 15th October 2021.
