Ali Fazal has been announced the new international goodwill ambassador for Goodwill Caravan. The actor recently marked his association by working on ground with the NGO for providing aid to refugees stationed in Egypt. There, he interacted with few women and children who managed to get out of the massacres in Gaza.

Love in Vietnam goes to Korea

Love in Vietnam, starring Shantanu Maheshwari and Avneet Kaur is set to release in Korea on December 8. Directed by Rahhat Shah Kazmi, the project marked the first India-Vietnam collaboration. It is a love story inspired from the novel Madonna in a Fur Coat by Sabahattin Ali.

Madhuri Dixit is all set to rule OTT space with her new show Mrs. Deshpande. Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, Mrs Deshpande will be out on JioHotstar on December 19. Madhuri plays the role of a serial killer in the series.

Simon not ‘proud’

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
