Lucky Ali live
Bollywood singer Lucky Ali, known for timeless hits like O Sanam, Safarnama, and Ek Pal Ka Jeena, is set to embark on his India tour “Re: Sound” by Jet Alive. Reflecting on his early life, Ali shared that he once considered himself “good-for-nothing” before finding his purpose in music. Initially involved in animal husbandry and horse breeding, he later tried acting at his father Mehmood Ali’s suggestion but felt “uncomfortable” in films. Choosing music as his true calling, Lucky Ali continues to inspire. Speaking on AI in music, he said, “AI will always remain soulless — it cannot replicate an artist’s soul.”
Authenticity over AI
Singer-composer Vishal Dadlani, returning as a judge for the 16th season of Indian Idol alongside Shreya Ghoshal and Badshah, believes that music will always remain an authentic expression of human emotion. Unfazed by the rise of AI in music, Dadlani said technology can be a useful tool if used wisely, but dependence on it may diminish genuine creativity. Themed Yaadon Ki Playlist, the new season celebrates India’s emotional connection with music and memories. Known for hits like Kurban Hua, Jee Le Zara, and Tu Meri, Dadlani said Indian Idol helps him “musically refresh” himself through new voices and inspirations each season.
