Discovery channel’s Shark Week is set to return for its historic 34th year on July 25 at 10:14 am IST with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as its first Master of Ceremonies.

Fans can expect adrenaline-inducing original hours that deliver never-seen footage of walking sharks and shocking predations captured on-camera by dedicated science and research field teams. Shark Week also features new and returning special guests including comedian Tracy Morgan, the stars of truTV’s Impractical Jokers, Sal Vulcano, James Murray, Brian Quinn, and the cast of Jackass.

Dwayne Johnson took to his Instagram and shared the news saying, “I’m honoured to be your first-ever Shark Week Master of Ceremonies. Our Seven Bucks Productions has partnered with Discovery to bring you a very special Shark Week. I filmed it exclusively in Hawaii.”
