Om TV – India’s first OTT platform dedicated to history and mythology

A new OTT platform by the name Om TV was recently launched by actor Rajesh Kumar at Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain. Om TV aims to capture people’s imagination through its stories in fiction or non-fiction format. In its evolving process, the OTT aims to conduct quiz programmes, bring the age-old yoga for different learners, animated stories of Puranas, Jatak Katha and wisdom from the revered Vedas and the Guru Granth Sahib.

Rajesh says, “I have been a Mahadev bhakt since my childhood and have personally experienced his divine power. When I was told about being a part of the launch of Om TV at the Mahakaleshwar temple at Ujjain, I had no reasons to say no. In fact, I have shot for some anchor links for this app.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
