Created and directed by Jaspal Bhatti, the show joins the long list of DD’s iconic old shows such as Ramayan, Mahabharat, Buniyaad and Shaktimaan among others to make a comeback on the small screen amid the coronavirus-led lockdown.

Veteran actor-producer and wife of Jaspal Bhatti, Savita Bhatti, on Wednesday said, “It’s emotional as it’s so intrinsic to my identity. Now that it’s back on TV, my identity is being re-established in my own eyes. Otherwise I question myself, ‘Am I someone who can be a has-been at this stage of my life?’ Whatever happens in life, I will always be a part of such an eternal show.”
