The channel &TV launched the life story of Babasaheb with Ek Mahanayak Dr B.R. Ambedkar in 2019. The show became a huge success, striking an instant chord with the audience. And from July 20 onwards, Ek Mahanayak Dr B.R. Ambedkar will move into a new phase with a whole new star cast.

The cast includes Atharva Karve as young Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, Narayani Mahesh Varne as Ramabai Bhimrao Ambedkar, Kunwar Vikaram Soni as Anand and Vikram Diwedi as Nattoram. Says Atharva, “As the show moves into a new chapter of young Bhimrao’s life, he once again faces humiliation and ostracisation. Through his sheer determination and strong will, he continues on the path to education and stands up against every injustice.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
