The family drew the singer’s attention mid-show when their coordinated outfits caught his eye. Clearly delighted, Diljit invited them on stage, and together they danced. Viral videos from the concert show the singer applauding the family’s effort.
In their tribute, the family recreated the outfit that Dosanjh wore at the Met Gala 2025, where he made history as the first Punjabi artist to walk the blue carpet in traditional attire. His regal white ensemble was an apparent homage to the Maharaja of Patiala and was designed by American-Nepalese designer Prabal Gurung.

By mirroring that iconic ensemble, the family created a memorable fan moment at the concert. Clips from the event have gone viral on social media, with fans praising both the family’s creativity and Dosanjh’s warm gesture in bringing them into the spotlight.
The Sydney concert was part of Dosanjh’s ongoing ‘AURA’ tour, which brought down under, nearly selling out Parramatta’s 25,000-seat Western Sydney stadium in Australia.
