Popular film editor Ajay Sharma passed away on May 4 in Delhi due to Covid-19 related complications. He was in his forties.

Recently, filmmaker Ashoke Pandit had sent out an SOS on Twitter seeking an oxygen bed for Ajay Sharma in Delhi as his oxygen level dropped to 83. However, the editor could not be saved. Ajay is known for editing films like Jagga Jasoos, Karwaan, Ludo and Amazon Prime series Bandish Bandits among others. Actress Shriya Pilgaonkar confirmed his demise on Twitter.
