Sharing a new poster for the mystery-thriller series, the streaming platform confirmed that Lupin would be making its return in summer 2021, with a five-episode second part. Staring Omar Sy in the lead, the show consists of 10 episodes altogether, five of which have already been released on the platform, packaged as part one of the series, on January 8, 2021. An exact premiere date for part two has not been provided as yet.
Created by George Kay, the story takes inspiration from the adventures of Arsène Lupin, the early 20th-century French literary character created by Maurice Leblanc. The series follows the exploits of Assane Diop (Omar Sy), a gentleman thief and master of disguise, who sets out on a mission to avenge his father for an injustice inflicted by a wealthy family.
