Honey Trap Squad actress Sherleen Dutt says she wasn’t always sure about her career path, but with time realised her inclination towards acting. She said, “Growing up, I had various interests and ambitions. For instance, I once aspired to become an IAS officer. However, as I matured, my passions evolved, leading me to pursue acting. This journey was full of exploration and self-discovery.”
She got the motivation from a combination of introspection and external influences. She added, “Watching films by directors like Anurag Kashyap and actors like Vijay Sethupathi inspired me deeply. Their work resonated with me, and I felt a calling towards the craft of acting. Spirituality and manifestation practices also played a crucial role in guiding my decisions.”
Sherleen confessed that she had often faced challenges of overthinking and self-doubt. She shared, “To manage them, I practice mindfulness and meditation, which help me stay grounded and focused. I also prioritise my tasks and take one step at a time.”
