How excited are you about your first reality show?

I am all excited. A bit worried as well, since I am from Delhi and will be concerned about my people. I am just trying to be strong and positive.

How will this show help you?

Apart from the mental strength, I feel I will be getting a lot of positive vibes from the show. I am really looking forward to it. My mental strength is my family and they have been always encouraging me.

You are quite a fashion icon. How are you going to dress up for Khatron Ke Khiladi?

Shops are closed now due to the lockdown. I am still figuring out what to do. I think whatever I will carry will depict my personality, which is what fashion means to me.

What are the chances of a woman lifting the trophy this time?

I will be always rooting for the girls. But everyone is going to give their best, and a lot of things we will only come to know when we face the challenges. I am scared of insects, but I also know this is a competition and we all will go all out.

As a singer how content are you?

An artiste’s journey is over if you are content. I will still need to put in a lot of hard work. The party has just started!

How much do you miss performing live?

Live performance is something that I have always enjoyed. You get to meet your listeners in front of you. I miss performing live. I also have a dream of going for my own world tour.

Who else in your family is into music?

My father Jaspal Singh Gill is a composer. My dad only taught me initially. He used to sit with me and we used to do riyaaz. My grandfather was also a musician, so music is in my blood.

Given an opportunity, will you act in Punjabi films?

I am a person who will never give up and will always take up any opportunity.

One person in your life who has been your strength and why?

My mother Seema Gill. She is a very positive soul and always motivates me to do good in life. I am blessed to have her as my mother.
