Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal engaged? Here's the truth

Internet was left buzzing on Wednesday when rumours of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s roka ceremony surfaced. 

Fans were as delighted as they could be. However, these are only rumours. Katrina’s spokesperson told Zoom TV that contrary to reports, there has been “no roka ceremony and the actress will begin shooting for Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 soon”.

“There has been no Roka ceremony. She is leaving for Tiger 3 shoot soon,” Zoom TV quoted the spokesperson as saying.

Earlier this year, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor appeared on Zoom’s chat show By Invite Only, and confirmed that Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are dating.

“Vicky and Katrina are together, that’s true. Am I going to get in trouble for saying this? I don’t know. I think they’re quite open about it,” he said.

The rumours have come just a few days after Vicky and Katrina were spotted at the screening of the Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani-starrer Shershaah.

The rumours spread like wildfire and Twitterati couldn’t hold back its excitement as one of the users wrote, “What! I hope this news is true. They are perfect for each other.” Another user wrote, “There are engagement rumours that they had a roka ceremony. Will wait for an official announcement till then it remains a rumour.” As rightly suggested, an official announcement is awaited from the couple. 

Rumours about Vicky and Katrina’s alleged romance began after they were spotted together at a Diwali party in 2019.
