Essaying the pivotal role of Khanderao with finesse in period drama Punyashlok Ahilyabai is child actor Krish Chauhan. Since the show is set in the backdrop of the 18th century, the actors are required to do extensive research and preparations in order to do justice to the historical characters they portray onscreen. Interestingly, Krish believes that being a part of this show has been a great learning experience. According to him, he has gained wisdom and learnt lessons above and beyond what he could have learnt from a regular school-going experience.

Says Krish Chauhan, “My journey on the show has been demanding, but equally satisfying. I feel blessed to be working with such a supportive team that allows me to make mistakes and learn my own lessons. The knowledge gained is unsurmountable. I would always cherish this experience because, needless to say, Punyashlok Ahilyabai has been the best teacher of my life.”
