Niyati Chakra has an amazing storyline. My role is also unique. I have never played anything like this in my career so far.

Tell us something about your character.

There are two main characters here — one played by me and the other by Mukesh Tiwari. Our characters have no names. I am the one who has been travelling to the past as he wants to find out about his past.

As an actor how comfortable are you working during the pandemic?

I guess we all have got accustomed to this new normal and this is the need of the hour. This is for our safety and we should all follow the safety protocols.

A decade in the industry, what is your biggest takeaway?

I still can’t believe that I have completed 10 years. I have matured over the years, learnt from my mistakes and people with whom I have worked.

A dancer or an actor?

I have started acting because I love the craft the way I love dancing. I can work 365 days in front of the camera without complaining.

What kind of series do you love to watch on OTT platforms?

I love all genres, from comedy to horror to sci-fi. For an actor this platform has opened so many avenues that an actor doesn’t need a film to prove his talent.

What do you want to achieve as an actor?

I have not set any boundaries for myself. I have kept myself open as there is no fixed definition of a hero now. I would love to do an action-packed series. An Indian version of Money Heist is also something I would love to do.

What about your love for dance?

There is one dance-based reality show which will roll in November on an OTT platform. I wanted to do Jhalak Dikhla Ja but that show has gone off air.

Who do you look up to in your life?

My elder brother Kunwar Ranjit Singh. He is a police officer in Indore and just a week back his name was included in the world book of records. He is known as Singham of Madhya Pradesh.

Will you do a show like Bigg Boss in the future?

I was offered Bigg Boss earlier and I am quite scared of the show.
