Yuvika Chaudhary, who was Bigg Boss 9 contestant, has been making headlines for the wrong reasons. The actress was arrested under the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (SC/ST Act), as she allegedly made an offensive remark on one of her YouTube vlogs. Yuvika was arrested on Monday by Haryana police. However, she has been granted interim bail.

Her legal representative, Ashok Bishnoi, in a statement said: “My client has joined the investigations according to the guidelines given by the High Court and she is on interim bail now.” Reportedly, the actress made an offensive remark towards a community, which she deleted after getting a huge backlash. She later took to Instagram to clarify that she did not know the word she used was a casteist slur!
