How did you bag this role?

I gave an audition for the role and I was selected. Everything happened so quickly. Ekta ma’am narrated the story to me. She gave a lot of power to Kainaat’s character.

Tell us about your role in the series.

So, I play the role of Kainaat, a happy-go-lucky girl. She is from a middle-class Muslim family, and is full of dreams and aspirations.

How much do you relate to your character?

I am a person of principles. I know how I want things and how to get them. I don’t compromise on my values and ethics when it comes to my goals. I take calculated risks in my life, and that’s exactly how Kainaat is.

How was it working with Kushal Tandon?

I didn’t know the hero and seeing Kushal sir on my first day on the sets was quite surprising. While working, Kushal sir told me, “I might be big for some people, but on the set, I am on the same page as you are.” He is a very warm, kind, and humble person.

What’s next for you after this?

I am working as a creative strategist at an advertising agency in Delhi and also pursuing my MBA. Once I am done, with this series and my MBA, I will take up more projects. I have to give 100 per cent to whatever I do. That’s my life motto!
