When did the idea of becoming an actor come to you?

Since childhood I used to be a movie buff. I remember if the hero was beaten in the film, I used to act and limp the next day! I was so engrossed in films. I was one of the background actors in Super 30 and Chhichhore. I have always worked with honesty.

You are from Bhopal;how were the initial days of struggle in Mumbai?

I can surely call Mumbai as my city now. Sharing a room with eight-nine other people to sharing a flat with a couple of people… the journey has been only getting better. After every 11 months, there is a house hunt but the city gives me the best vibes!

What is your role in Love J Action?

It is a love story set in a small city. It is the story of Jackson, played by me, who does everything to keep his love intact.

Was it difficult shooting during the pandemic? Were you sceptical?

Not really. Love J Action is a big opportunity and playing the lead is a different responsibility. Had it not been for this show, it would have been difficult for me to survive in Mumbai.

Besides acting, you are also into writing as well. Tell us something about that…

This happened when I left my job. As we all know, Mumbai is an expensive city. So I used write for cartoon shows, which helped me meet my expenses.

What kind of series do you watch on OTT platforms?

I loved Scam 1992. Have not watched Gullak 2 yet, but I have heard a lot of good things about it.

What is next for you?

I am travelling to Uttarakhand for my next film’s shooting, but, unfortunately, I can’t give any other details.
