Joining the cast of Sony Entertainment Television’s new show Sargam Ki Sadhe Satii is a well-known television actor Malini Kapoor. She will be seen playing the role of Sargam’s mother in the show. After taking a break for over three years, Malini is now back on the silver screen and is thrilled to be a part of this new show.

Sharing her excitement, Malini says, “It feels so good to be back on the sets after a break of three years. When I first heard the story and details of my character, I knew I had to be a part of this show. My character, Lata, is a South Delhi elite who owns an art gallery. The show is a fun sitcom that beautifully brings forth the importance and bond of a joint family.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
