Director Steven Spielberg’s much awaited film adaptation of the musical West Side Story saw a glittering red-carpet premiere at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater Jazz on November 29. Along with Spielberg, Rita Moreno, Ansel Elgort, Rachel Zegler and the rest of the cast and crew were also present at the premiere! Early reviews from the premiere have praised the Spielberg-directorial and have sparked Oscar contention buzz as well. From 20th Century Studios, Disney India will release West Side Story in cinemas on December 10. —TMS
