The OTT platform ULLU has announced the release of a new story, which is based on the social issue of bride-trafficking. Titled Paro, the series will start streaming on the app from today (May 18). Says Leena, “My role is of a beautiful village girl, Paro, who becomes a victim of bride-trafficking. When I heard the story, it gave me goose-bumps to know that even in the 21st century there are women in our country who are forced into such heinous social practices.”
