'Mithai toh khila de': Vicky Kaushal's parents laugh hard over Katrina Kaif engagement rumours

Internet was abuzz with rumours of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s roka and soon after, the couple planning a big-fat wedding in Rajasthan.

However, their teams have denied it.

Katrina deletes photo with Vicky Kaushal’s reflection?Now, Vicky Kaushal’s brother, actor Sunny Kaushal has revealed how their parents reacted to the rumours of Vicky’s engagement with Katrina Kaif.

Talking to SpotboyE, Sunny said, “I remember that Vicky had gone to the gym in the morning when the rumours started coming. So, when he returned home, mom and dad funnily asked him, ‘Arre yaar, teri engagement ho gayi, mithai to khila de (We heard you got engaged, please treat us to sweets)’. And then Vicky told them, ‘Jitni asli engagement hui hai, utni asli mithai bhi kha lo (Since the engagement is imaginary, the sweets will be too)’. We don’t know where it all came from, but we all were laughing so hard because of that.”

As per reports, Vicky and Katrina were all set to get hitched in December this year. There were reports that the two had also zeroed in on a property in Udaipur, Rajasthan. 

Vicky and Katrina, ever since they were seen leaving Anil Kapoor’s Diwali bash together back in 2019, have been the talk of the town.

Though they have been frequently spotted together and also photographed, the two have remained tight-lipped about their relation. 

Recently, Katrina attended the premiere of Vikey’s film ‘Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship in Mumbai’, besides the two attending ‘Shershaah’ premiere together.
