Which was your last show?

My last show was Naagin 3 and it was a wonderful learning experience.

What changes have you found in the industry over the years?

I think the industry has always been evolving, but with new technology this process of evolution appears to have been hastened.

You’ve maintained yourself quite efficiently. What is the secret?

I eat right and train smart. There’s not much else to it. Good, healthy and happy living!

What kind of roles are you looking for?

I’m looking for roles which are unique, challenging and strong in nature.

Who is your inspiration in acting and why?

Actors like Tabu and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who are masters at embracing their characters and making the acting process look effortless, are my inspiration.

How did Naagin enhance your career?

Naagin got rave reviews and I got a lot of recognition. That’s why Naagin is so special. As a show, it did tremendously well and gave my career a massive boost.

Do you feel the OTT boom has led to the evolution of content on TV?

Competition forces creativity and change. This will lead to an evolution of content across the board because everyone wants to get ahead. Everyone will sharpen their skills and put their best foot forward.
