Param Singh to play lead in Ishk Par Zor Nahi

Sony Entertainment Television is all set to launch a new show – Ishk Par Zor Nahi. This latest offering from Sony brings to life a new-age young love story which highlights conflicting ideologies of Ahaan Malhotra and Ishqi on love and marriage. Popular TV actor Param Singh has been roped in to play the lead role of Ahaan Malhotra in the show.

Throwing light on his character, Param says, “Ahaan is a complex guy. He couldn’t be more different from me. He represents everything that I am not. However, that’s where the role of an actor comes in. I had to make sure that the audience understands where Ahaan is coming from, to justify his actions and emotions. And this makes the role even more challenging. Having said that, I am excited about my role and the new show and I am really happy about the feedback received on the promo of the show.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
