It’s always a moment of joy when a television show completes a run of 100 successful episodes. The cast and crew of Colors’ popular show Pinjara Khubsurti Ka recently marked its very first milestone of 100 episodes. The entire unit was overjoyed, and they celebrated by cutting a huge cake.

Talking on the special occasion, Saahil, who plays the lead, Omkar, says, “Such a unique story has never been seen on television before, and I was greatly confident about the subject. With us completing 100 episodes, it just validates my opinion and makes me even more proud of the concept of the show. The love and admiration that we are receiving from the audience is a proof of that. Going forward I can only say that the show is set to become even more interesting.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
