Preity good together

Last year has been phenomenal for actor, producer and comic Vir Das. He topped 2019 off with American prime time show Fresh Off the Boat with Bollywood’s dimpled darling Preity Zinta. Vir shares, “I am grateful that this has been a year when the Indian and American audience came together and watched my content in different forms. This was acting-heavy year. Fresh Off The Boat is one to look out for. The best part of it was working with Preity. It was such a joy sharing screen space with her. It’s kind of nice to bring some genuine brown to American television.”

Vir adds, “I think she is a crackling actress. She has a great understanding of the script and the story. The experience she brings to the table is valuable. But over and above, all of this, on material like this our primary job is to be funny and she gets that right. My favourite memory is that we made each other laugh throughout the shoot.”
