Diljit Dosanjh gives proof of his Indian citizenship
Diljit Dosanjh has been standing strong with farmers ever since they started their protest against the farm laws. The singer-actor had even joined protesting farmers at Delhi’s Singhu border in December. While many praised Diljit for showing support towards farmers, the actor has received criticism as well. His nationality was questioned and the actor was trolled for going against the government’s proposal. Giving it back to trolls, Diljit took to Twitter on Sunday and shared a proof of him being the citizen of India.
He posted his platinum certificate, which was issued by the Ministry of Finance. The Government of India document certifies that Diljit has paid tax and filed his income tax return for 2019-2020.

of the term.
