Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, which empowers kids and celebrates their choices, has set the tone for the New Year with the announcement of kids’ favourite rap music star. And it is none other than rapper Baadshah! Competing against Honey Singh, Raftaar, Raja Kumari, amongst others, the rapper emerged the winner.

Commenting on the win, Baadshah says, “Kids are the most loyal, but one of the most difficult groups to impress. With so many options available, it is challenging to keep them engaged. I feel fortunate to be chosen as the Favourite Rap Music Star at the Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards by kids. I look forward to creating more songs and entertaining them.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
