Love seems to be blossoming in Tollywood, as reports suggest that popular stars Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have taken a big step forward in their relationship. According to M9 News, the duo recently got engaged in an intimate ceremony attended only by close friends and family members. The couple is now said to be planning a wedding in February 2026.

While neither Rashmika nor Vijay has officially confirmed the news, their silence has only fueled speculation.

Festive Instagram post fuels speculation

Adding to the buzz, Rashmika’s recent Dussehra post on Instagram caught fans’ attention. Dressed in a traditional saree with a tilak on her forehead, the actress shared festive greetings—but eagle-eyed followers speculated that the post might subtly hint at her engagement.

She wrote: "Happy Dussehra my loves… This year, I’m feeling extra grateful because of all the love you’ve been showering on the Thamma trailer and our song… Your messages, your excitement, your constant support — you make every moment bigger and happier for me. And I can’t wait to see you all super sooooon during the promotions..."

The post quickly attracted a flood of congratulatory messages, with many fans convinced it was more than just festive celebration.

The engagement rumours also brought back a viral moment from last year, when Rashmika, during the Pushpa 2 promotions, was asked if she'd marry someone from the film industry. Her cryptic yet cheeky reply — “Everyone knows about it” — sent the crowd into laughter and sparked further dating rumours.

On the career front, Rashmika Mandanna is preparing for the release of Thamma, a horror-comedy directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. The film, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal, is scheduled to release on October 21, 2025. She has also finished shooting for Cocktail 2 alongside Kriti Sanon.

Vijay Deverakonda, meanwhile, was last seen in the critically acclaimed spy thriller Kingdom (2025), directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, and continues to earn accolades for his performance.
