You are a qualified civil engineer. What made you switch over to acting?

I always wanted to be an actor. I did civil engineering as I wanted to be an educated actor.

Have you done any professional course in acting?

Yes, I did an acting course from Barry John Acting Studio. One needs to learn a proper skill set before entering any profession.

Tell us about your role in Aisa Q which is out on OTT.

I am playing the daughter of the CM of Rajasthan, Shruthi Agarwal, who comes back from London to India to investigate her father’s murder.

You have done Gujarati films. How is the Gujarati industry different from Bollywood?

I feel the Gujarati industry is more spontaneous. People here believe in getting work done as soon as possible.

Who’s your inspiration?

Shah Rukh Khan. The first film that I watched when I was a kid was SRK’s Asoka and that’s when I decided to be an actor.

If given a chance, which reality show would you like to participate in?

I think it would be Bigg Boss. I have always been a fan of this show.

Going by your Instagram profile, you seem to like travelling. What has been your most memorable outing so far?

I love travelling. I have been to 18 countries and my goal is to visit all of them. I once met a fan in Thailand and he wasn’t Indian. It’s an amazing feeling that even foreigners have seen my work.

We hear that you are an animal activist as well. What do you do?

Yes, I love animals. I have rescued many animals and I live a cruelty-free lifestyle.

Any upcoming projects?

A couple of my web series are on the floors and a few films are in the pre-production stage. So, I am waiting for all the things to come together.
