Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol 12 will welcome Bollywood’s evergreen diva Rekha on the show this weekend.

For the shooting, the veteran actress wore a beautiful saree and Neha Kakkar was in complete awe of her. Rekha mentioned how happy she was to hear about Neha’s wedding and decided to get her a special gift as a shaadi ka shagun. Rekha gifted a beautiful Kanjivaram saree to Neha.

Neha was speechless. Neha said, “This saree is a blessing which I have received from Rekha ma’am and this would always be very special to me. I can’t describe in words how happy I am.”

Rekha replied, “It’s always said whenever you meet a newlywed you should pour your blessings on them. I believe saree is one of the most beautiful attires someone can don. So, I decided to gift Neha a saree only.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
