Filmmaker-actor Mahesh Manjrekar, who is known for his work in Hindi as well as Marathi film industries, has been operated upon for urinary bladder cancer. According to reports, he was diagnosed with cancer a few days back and doctors suggested a surgery. Manjrekar was admitted to Mumbai’s HN Reliance Foundation Hospital at Charni Road around 10 days back where the operation was conducted The surgery went smoothly and Mahesh Manjrekar is now back at his residence.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Mahesh Manjrekar is directing Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma-starter Antim — The Final Truth.
