How do you view opportunities in today’s entertainment industry?

Finding the right opportunity is definitely tricky in today’s competitive world. It’s less about waiting for the perfect chance and more about creating it. Networking, upskilling and staying adaptable are the key to staying relevant and visible in the industry.

You mentioned that it’s important to create your own opportunities. Can you elaborate on that?

Yes, absolutely. In this fast-paced industry, you can’t afford to just sit and wait for things to happen. You have to take the initiative—collaborate, learn, experiment, and put yourself out there. The more proactive you are, the more doors start to open.

The entertainment field is full of competition. What, according to you, helps an actor stand out?

Even though the competition is fierce, standing out often comes down to how you market yourself and how persistent you are. It’s not just about being the best, but about being visible and ready when the right door opens. Consistency and confidence go a long way.

Do you believe luck plays a part in success?

Yes, I do believe luck plays a role, but it’s not everything. It’s like seasoning in a dish—it enhances what’s already there. You can’t control luck, but you can control how prepared you are when lucky breaks come your way.

So would you say success is a mix of hard work and luck?

Definitely! Hard work, persistence and being in the right place at the right time often create their own form of luck. I’d say success is a preparation meeting opportunity—with a sprinkle of luck on top.

Balancing personal and professional life is always a challenge. How do you maintain that balance?

Maintaining a work-life balance is a constant juggle. The key is to set boundaries, to know when to unplug from work and prioritize yourself or your loved ones. Time management helps a lot: plan your day, set realistic goals, and don’t overcommit.

That’s a great point. Any advice for people who struggle to find balance?

Don’t underestimate the power of saying ‘no’ when necessary. Sometimes, balance isn’t about dividing time equally but making sure what truly matters gets your attention. It’s okay to slow down and recharge—it makes you stronger and more focused.

Lastly, how do you define ambition at this stage in your career?

For me, ambition means growth—whether that’s mastering new skills, taking on leadership roles, or making a meaningful impact. Passion, purpose and the desire to leave a legacy drive ambition.
