Shama Sikander is now a proud pet parent. The actress has named her cute little dog as Casper, who is just 50 days old.

Talking about Casper, Shama says, “I wanted to have a puppy for a long time. I have friends who have puppies and when I visit them, they just love me unconditionally. And it always brought out this beautiful motherly instinct in me.”

The actress continues, “During the second lockdown, somewhere around July, I dreamt about it. I woke up one day and the first thought that came to me was to have a puppy. James was pleasantly surprised. He knows that once I decide something I go for it full throttle. We started looking for one and we came across this beautiful furry ball. He had my heart from the very first glance.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
