Thought-provoking Opinions, Expert Analysis, In-depth Insights and other Member Only BenefitsOne of the most heartwarming behind-the-scenes moments from the set of Tumm Se Tumm Tak comes courtesy of actress Niharika Chouksey and her now-famous “snack tokri.” Initially meant just for herself, the basket — stocked with both healthy bites and indulgent treats — has become a welcome surprise for everyone on set.
“Shooting for Tumm Se Tumm Tak has been such a wonderful experience, and amidst the long hours on set, there’s one little thing that always keeps me going – my snack tokri,” Niharika shared. “My mum has thoughtfully kept it ready for me on set, filled with all kinds of treats, some healthy and some indulgent too. Being a foodie myself, you’ll always find my favourites there, like Chana Jor Garam and Greek yoghurt with gur.”
The tokri travels with her from set to set, and its presence has become something of a comforting constant—not just for her, but for the crew as well. “Moments like these remind me that even in the busiest schedules, little gestures of care go a long way in keeping the spirit of the set warm and lively,” she added.
Much like her character Anu, Niharika brings a sense of care, energy and authenticity to her surroundings. While viewers watch Tumm Se Tumm Tak unfold with its unconventional love story, behind the camera, it’s these small, thoughtful rituals that keep the cast and crew connected.
